Sheringham Carnival is a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers putting on and helping manage events in the town for the benefit of the local economy, visitors, and locals alike.
The cost of putting on events including the carnival is significant and runs into tens of thousands each year.
We have existed for nearly 100 years and raise funds through sponsorship, and by collecting cash via bucket collections. The carnival programme sheet is now free and can be downloaded online. As we move into an online cashless economy, we have needed to change with the times, hence we now ask for online donations along with support from our sponsors , and bucket collectors.
As funds allow, we also make donations to local good causes.
