On Sunday 11th August, at 2.30pm, as part of the Sheringham Lifeboat Day, Gary Powell presented cheques for £505.50 to both Stuart McClean of Sheringham Carnival and Brian Farrow of the RNLI.
Gary raised the funds through a series of talks he gave through the winter on the sinister side of London. His extensive experience as a police officer in the city giving him a particular insight. The talks at The Masonic Hall were organised by Sheringham Carnival and were very popular. It was always Gary’s intention to share all proceeds equally between Sheringham Carnival and the RNLI.
Both Sheringham Carnival and the RNLI really appreciate Gary’s generosity and say a massive THANK YOU!
